In pictures: Bollywood sends love to siblings on Raksha Bandhan

Updated 27 Aug, 2018

Raksha Bandhan is one of the most momentous festivals of India and is celebrated with great zeal every year. The significance of this festival is to strengthen the brother-sister bond and Bollywood is nowhere behind when it comes to celebrating and fulfilling their duties.

Every year, Bollywood celebrities share rakhi moment with their siblings, send gifts and wish them on social media. Let us take a look at the B-town’s Rakhi celebrations this year.

For this Indian festival, Varun Dhawan added a 'Sui Dhaaga' touch to his Rakhi gift hampers for his sisters. He celebrates this festival with his sisters every year and this time he has created a special hamper featuring some really cool handmade Indian fabrics and crafts as gifts for them.

Arjun Kapoor has also been showering some serious 'sista' love for Janhvi, Anshula, Khushi and Sonam Kapoor among others on the social media.  He shared a picture of Jhanvi from her runway walk debut last evening and wrote, "Janhvi Kapoor's expression when she's pretending she likes... workout over eating." He added, "Clearly, it is the Raksha Bandhan weekend vibe being strong on my timeline."

Similarly, he shared a picture of Sonam and wrote, "While in Juhu scheme, Sonam Kapoor just having a regular day #SonamFactor." If this was not enough, he also asked Rhea Kapoor and Shanaya Kapoor to get clicked so that his Raksha Bandhan weekend can kick off in full swing.

Esha Gupta has also posted a picture with her brothers on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan and issued a warning to all her lovers and captioned it as, "Sorry, my brothers don’t approve of you".

Sorry, my brothers don’t approve of you..
