Berth occupancy was maintained at 42 percent at the Port Qasim on Sunday where a total of six ships namely, M.V La Paloma, M.V Leo Pard-B, M.V MSC Carla, M.T Bunga Angsana, M.T Akaki, M.V Ataman are currently occupying berths to load/offload rice, cement, containers, palm oil, furnace oil and canola seed was handled at Port last 24 hours. Cargo handling operations were carried out smoothly at the Port Qasim where a cargo volume 86622 tonnes comprising 74853 tonnes import, 11769 tonnes export, 1322 (TUES) was handled at the port during last 24 hours. M.T Al Salam-II sailed on Saturday morning. M.V Maersk Georgia, M.V ACX Lily at QICT, arrive on 22nd January, 2012.
