KCCI expresses concern over prevailing political unrest
KARACHI: Leader of Businessmen Group and Former President Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), Siraj Kassam Teli has expressed concern over prevailing tension between politicians, institutions, army and judiciary and said that any clash is not in the interest of the country.
Speaking at a meeting of Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) with the delegation of Arts Council led by its President Ahmed Shah, he said everybody must follow constitution and law of the country to avert any big setback in the country. He said that the country facing serious economic, political and law and order problems and any hasty move may harm country adversely.
He said entire population of the country watching prevailing political uncertainty and praying God to bring country out of crisis, democratic system and rule of law should prevail.
Siraj Kassam Teli prays the role Arts Council and said that it is working to promote art and culture.
He gave a detailed briefing about the working of KCCI and its role in economic activities of the country.
President Arts Council, Ahmed Shah said that his group has been taking active part in Arts Council for the last 11 years and from last 5 years Arts Council members repose confidence on the group and electing them on governing body seats.
He said that Pakistan has rich culture and added that Pakistan art and culture will also work Pak art and culture in the country and abroad which will help improve Pak image in the minds of foreigners.
President KCCI, Mian Abrar Ahmed said that the chamber and arts council will work jointly for the portion of Pakistan art and culture soon.
