LSE witnesses bearish trend

LAHORE: Bearish trend prevailed in Lahore Stock Exchange on the opening day on Monday of the week, as it shed 10.46 poin

The market's overall situation also did not correspond to an upward trend as it remained at 757,459 shares to close against previous turnover of 858,723 shares, showing a downward slide of 101,264 shares.

While, out of the total 94 active crips only 10 moved up, 65 remained equal and 19 shed values.

Pakistan State Oil Company Limited, Attock Refinery Limited and Arif Habib Corporation were Major Gainer of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 2.61, Re 0.92 and Re 0.30 respectively.

Oil and Gas Development Company Limited, Allied Bank Limited and Fauji Fertilizer Company lost their per share value by Rs 2.46, Rs 1.35 and Rs 1.12 respectively.

The Volume Leader of the day included Lotte Pakistan PTA Limited with 127,900 shares, NIB Bank Limited with 126,500 shares and Fauji Fertilizer Company with 94,575 shares.
