Simply reset Firefox if you're having problems

Published Updated

If your Firefox browser is running slow, crashing a lot or burdened with unwanted extras, just reset it to its default version. Simply click on Help, then Troubleshooting Information and then Reset Firefox to its default state, in the top right of the window. This will delete add-ons, but retain bookmarks, surfing history, passwords, cookies, form fill-in data and entries into personal dictionaries.
