Karachi Clash Live Updates: Lyari Aman Committee protesters hold sit-in at Shaheen Complex

Earlier, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Faisal Raza Abidi said police baton-charged peaceful protesters. The police baton-charged the Lyari Peoples Aman Committee protesters over their demand of addressing issues of Lyari residents and restoring peace in the city amongst others.

Law enforc­ement agencies were deploy­ed to preven­t the Aman Commit­tee protes­tors from reachi­ng Bilawa­l House have apprehended several demonstrators.

The Aman Committee were proceeding to Bilawal House to demand release of their members.

Police has cordonned off the Shaheen Complex road.
