Punjab implements comprehensive education programme: minister

He said that Daanish School programme is one of them chief minister would open further new avenues of development and that poor could avail modern education facilities.

Talking to delegations of students here on Thursday, Haji Ehsan said, "We must create awareness among people that they are members of a nation that has been placed by geography in a strategic location in Asia."

He said that under reforms, cheat mafia and phantom schools had been eliminated. He said that under Punjab government's vigorous campaign for primary enrolment, more than three million children had been admitted to school.
