Pictures: Aisha Khan ditches traditional red colour for her baraat
Pakistani actress Aisha Khan and Major Uqbah Malik's week-long wedding celebrations have come to an end, as the newly-wed couple hosted their valima ceremony in Islamabad last night.
The wedding gala of Aisha weds Uqbah lasted for almost a week, which started off with the mayoon and mehendi events and ended in the reception ceremony that took place Sunday night. The bride looked beautiful and elegant in all her wedding events.
On her baraat event, Aisha chose to wear a heavily embroidered peach traditional lehenga dress with complementary diamond studded jewelry. Meanwhile for her Valima ceremony, the actress wore a metallic gold dress with a dark green lehenga and her husband chose to wear his Pakistan Air Force uniform.

Although the wedding was a private event with little to none of the local celebrities invited, Aisha still received wishes from her co-stars including Humayun Saeed, who gave his best wishes to his friend through social media.
