When visiting any country, the first sighting that we get to see is their airports. Airports are not just a place that gives entry and exit to people; well that is their purpose, but they can also also be a visual treat for many.

An airport with gorgeous designs and spacious luxurious lounges is a welcoming sight for the visitors, especially for those who have been on long flights. Under this consideration, five airports have been listed under world’s top airports at the ‘Skytrax World Airport Awards 2018’.

Changi Airport

Ranked for the 6th time in a row as the top airport in the world, Changi Airport in Singapore is considered a destination in itself. Rooftop pool to movie theatre, luxury shopping stores to multitude of gardens, this world-class airport has it all.

Seems like Changi is not ready to lose its crown anytime soon as it is going to open another terminal exclusively for retail and dining purposes, Bloomberg reports.

Incheon International Airport

South Korea’s largest airport, Incheon International Airport has also reached the list of ‘World’s Cleanest Airports’. The airport has a Korean culture museum.

Haneda Airport

Located a few miles from Tokyo, Haneda is as busy as the capital as it is among the busiest airports in the world. The airport is famous for celebrating its history and modernity equally in its architecture.

Hong Kong International Airport

The airport has a SkyDeck which gives an excellent view of the runways. It was also a former recipient of ‘Best Airport for Dining’. The terminal has extensive facilities for leisure and shopping.

Hamad International Airport

Ranked 5th on the list, Qatar’s international airport can accommodate about 30 million passengers each year. Displayed in the grand foyer, the $6.8 million giant teddy bear is a sculpture created by a Swiss artist.
