After spending two nights in Jodhpur central jail, Bollywood's Salman Khan has been released after he was granted bail in the blackbuck poaching case.

The court granted bail on Saturday to Salman on personal bond of Rs 50,000 and two sureties of Rs 25,000 each, according to Times of India. Salman's sisters, Alvira and Arpita, were also present during the hearing.

The 'Kick' actor was sentenced to five years in jail almost after two decades the case began. His co-stars for the movie Saif Ali Khan, Neelam, Tabu and Sonali Bendre were however, acquitted.

In 1998, Khan who was shooting film 'Hum Saath Saath Hain' was found guilty of hunting two black bucks. The case against him was brought by members of the Bishnoi community, who revere antelopes.
