Pakistan Super League (PSL) reigning champion the Islamabad United will celebrate their second title win with a victory parade in Islamabad on April 8.

The United went on to beat the then defending champions Peshawar Zalmi by three wickets in the final at National Stadium of Karachi on March 25, and the franchise, owned by Leonine Global Sports, wants the fans to be a part of the celebrations.

“Hi to all our Islamabad fans. What a great season it has been. As part of our trophy celebration, we will be doing a victory parade on April 8 in Islamabad…looking forward to see you guys, come out in your numbers and support your number one team,” stated United opening batsman JP Duminy, in a message to United fans on social media.

The parade will start at 16:30PST from D-Chowk and will culminate in F9 Park where the public would be allowed to meet the players from the franchise and see the winner’s trophy as well.
