The MNAs assured their full support to the Prime Minister in strengthening the democratic dispensation in the country, as democracy holds key to the bright and prosperous future of the people of Pakistan besides an instrument to strengthen the federation.
The Prime Minister thanked for their solidarity with democracy and the democratic government.
The Prime Minister assured them that the incumbent democratic coalition government and its leadership was totally committed to espouse the cause of democracy at all levels as it was the essence of the ideology of Pakistan and of the vision of the Quaid-e-Azam, Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto.
While talking to the Prime Minister in the meeting, Saeed Ahmad Zafar requested the Prime Minister to ensure safeguarding of the interests of the tenants, whose livelihood depended on the state land as thousands of people were dependent on the Trust land located in Nankana Sahib Sub-Division.
He also advocated for the opening of Nankana Sahib University as promised.
Moazzam Khan Jatoi pleaded for the construction of a bridge between Jatoi and Jalalpur which would provide convenient connectivity to a large number of people of the area.
The Prime Minister assured the MNA for active consideration of the project by the National Highway Authority.
Pir Syed Fazal Ali Shah Jilani apprised the Prime Minister of the ongoing projects of electricity, gas and water supply in his constituency.
