Good to see cricket back in Pakistan: Inzamam

Pakistan Cricket team’s chief selector Inzamam ul Haq has said that it is good that cricket has finally revived in Pakistan especially in Karachi and Lahore.

Former captain of Pakistan said that it is a good sign from us that people are taking interest in the game after the success of Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 3. “We hope that cricket would revive across the country.”

Commenting on the emerging stars of Pakistan, he said it is a good sign for Pakistan cricket as new faces are coming and performing at the big stage.

“The youngsters haven’t disappointed us. It is the motivation for other youngsters in the domestic cricket as well,” he said.

Giving his views on Pakistan’s massive victory over West Indies in the first Twenty20 International (T20I), Inzamam said Pakistan have proved that they are the top ranked side in the world. They got the home conditions from which they took full advantage.

It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistan had registered a massive 143 runs victory over Windies in the first T20I at the National Stadium Karachi thanks to some brilliant oval all team performance.

Hussain Talat was the man of the moment as he made 41 with the bat and took a wicket as well.
