Pakistan International Film Festival to help promote positive image of city: Governor

KARACHI: Governor of Sindh, Muhammad Zubair on Friday said that Pakistan International Film Festival (PIFF) will help promote positive image of the metropolis.

He said this while speaking in a lunch hosted by him in honor of the organizers of the PIFF at the Governor House here, said a statement.

The Sindh Governor said that the prominent personalities of other countries associated with the film industry are also expected to attend the PIFF.

He said that the people, specially the fans of films, were anxiously waiting for this festival and the Karachiites would be watching the professionals of Hollywood, Lollywood and Bollywood in the metropolis.

Head of PIFF Sultana Siddiqi, former governor of State Bank of Pakistan Ishrat Hussain, Jawed Jabbar, Vishal Bharadwaaj and Rekha Bharadwaaj, Bhagoori Dilipkumar, Harash Narayan, Veneka Phatak, Ibara ul hasan, Talib Haider and other notables attended the event.
