Bollywood young star Alia Bhatt turned 25 on Thursday and surprisingly she celebrated her big day with none other than her rumored beau Ranbir Kapoor’s mother Neetu Kapoor in Bulgaria.

Alia’s upcoming movie director and close friend Ayan Mukerji threw a cozy birthday bash in Bulgaria where they are currently shooting for their film ‘Brahmastra’. Even though Ranbir was hard to spot in any of the pictures from the event, his mother Neetu still managed to pose with the ‘Raazi’ actress.

The veteran actress even posted a picture of Alia from her birthday with a caption, “Birthday girl in her own world”, weirdly with a hash tag of her son’s name. Along with this picture Neetu also posted another image with Alia and others with a caption, “Evening with some beautiful and lovely people.”

The movie starring the rumored couple Alia and Ranbir, is set to release in 2019. Earlier talking about her birthday plans the actress said, “Our shoot has been very hectic, so the cast and crew have been shooting non-stop. But Ayan is excited about my birthday. I guess he has been planning something like a cute little dinner. I’ve told him there is no pressure whatsoever to celebrate. All I want is a big cake, as I’ve been dieting like crazy. I won’t finish it by myself, but will at least eat three pieces through the day (laughs),” Hindustan Times quoted the actress.
