December's output reached an estimated 1.42 million tonnes, up 4.0 percent from the same month last year, the General Statistics Office said in its monthly report.

Actual output in November was revised up to 1.41 million tonnes from an earlier estimate of 1.4 million tonnes, thus rising 7.6 percent from the 1.31 million tonnes pumped in November 2010, the report said.

Vietnam's crude oil exports this year are estimated to have risen 3.6 percent from a year ago to 8.27 million tonnes, or 166,000 barrels per day, the government said on Wednesday.

State oil and gas group Petrovietnam is raising its 2012 crude oil output target to 15.8 million tonnes (317,500 barrels per day), up 5.3 percent from this year, largely due to increasing overseas production.
