LAHORE: Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) Director General Air Vice Marshal Shahid Afzal visited the Allama Iqbal International Airport on Saturday to review ongoing expansion projects, technical frameworks, and operational readiness.
During the visit, he carried out a detailed assessment of the Lahore Airport expansion project, strongly emphasising the need for its timely and efficient completion.
He inspected vital operational hubs, including the air traffic control tower and the cargo complex, while also evaluating the airport’s core infrastructure and technical systems.
Furthermore, he received an in-depth briefing on winter and low-visibility operational procedures to ensure seamless flight handling during adverse weather conditions.
