Dar reviews steps aimed at strengthening banking channels

ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister (DPM/FM) Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Tuesday chaired a meeting to review measures to strengthen banking channels and facilitate the industrial sector.

Discussions focused on facilitating financial transactions, addressing operational bottlenecks and improving coordination among the relevant institutions. The DPM/FM emphasised the importance of timely follow-up to support industrial activity and promote economic growth.

The meeting was attended by the Adviser to the Prime Minister for Industries and Production, SAPM Tariq Bajwa, the Governor of the State Bank of Pakistan, and the Secretary, Finance.
