KARACHI: Shipping activity was report at the port where two ships, Mansour-M and IVS Trader scheduled to load/offload Rice and Coal, berthed at Multi-Purpose Terminal and Pakistan International Bulk Terminal on 26th Oct.
Meanwhile five more ships, Kang Hua Wan, Bolan, High Tide, Ocean Pioneer and DS Cougar scheduled to load/offload Bitumen, Mogas, Gasoline and Chemicals also arrived at outer anchorage on same day.
A total of eight ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them a chemicals carrier ‘Putuoshan’ left the port on today morning, while another ship ‘Ginga Caracal’ expected to sail on Tuesday afternoon.
Cargo volume of 71,816 tones comprising 65,832 tones imports cargo and 5,984 export cargo was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 19 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them two ships, Bolan and Ocean Pioneer & BSG Barbados carrying Mogas, Chemicals and Container are expected to take berths FOTCO, EVTL and QICT respectively on Tuesday 27th October, 2026.
