KARACHI: Shipping activity was report at the port where liquid carrier ‘Putuo Shan’ carrying Chemicals, berthed at Engro Vopak Terminal on 25th Oct.
Meanwhile two more ships, Gaschem Alster and Kiran Anatolia carrying Chemicals and Coal also arrived at outer anchorage during last 24 hours.
A total of eight ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them three ships, Tan Binh 234, Ginga Caracal and Orion expected to sail on Monday afternoon.
Cargo volume of 121,181 tones comprising 113,002 tones imports cargo and 8,179 export cargo carried in 1,076 Containers (749 TEUs Imports & 327 TEUs Export)was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 16 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them three ships, Mansour-M, Orca-02 and IVS Trader scheduled to load/offload Rice, Palm oil and Coal are expected to take berths MW-2, LCT and PIBT respectively on Monday 26th October, 2026.
