It is a privilege to convey my greetings to the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan (ICMA Pakistan)& Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) and the on the occasion of the Best Corporate & Sustainability Reporting Awards (BCSRA) 2025.

Strong corporate reporting is essential to a transparent, accountable, and well-functioning economy. Reliable financialinformation and meaningful sustainability disclosures enable investors to assess business performance, supportinformed investment decisions, and strengthen confidence in Pakistan’s corporate sector.

As Pakistan works towards sustained economic stability and a more investment-driven growth model, the role ofresponsible businesses become increasingly important. Organizations that uphold sound financial management,effective governance, and transparent reporting are better positioned to attract investment, manage risks, and createlong-term value.

Sustainability reporting is also gaining importance as businesses respond to evolving market expectations,environmental challenges, and the need for responsible resource management. Integrating these considerations intocorporate decision-making can help strengthen business resilience and support inclusive and sustainable economicgrowth.

I commend ICMA Pakistan & ICAP for their joint efforts to promote high standards of corporate and sustainabilityreporting. I congratulate the participating organizations and award recipients for their commitment to transparency,accountability, and responsible business practices.
