I am pleased to extend my warm greetings to the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan (ICMA Pakistan) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) on the occasion of the Best Corporate & Sustainability Reports (BCSR) Awards 2025.

These Awards recognise excellence in corporate reporting and encourage transparency, accountability and sound governance. They provide a valuable opportunity for organisations to benchmark their practices against high standards and strengthen stakeholder confidence.

I attach particular importance to the accountancy profession’s role in upholding financial integrity and public trust. I encourage businesses to maintain the highest standards of disclosure and give due consideration to sustainability in their operations and reporting.

I appreciate the continued efforts of ICMA Pakistan and ICAP to promote professional excellence and responsible business practices in Pakistan. I also acknowledge their Joint Task Force for its dedication to sustaining this initiative.
