KARACHI: Shipping activity was report at the port where five ships, Elora-1, Alisa-1, PGC Yiannios, Sea Lavista and Ejnan carrying Palm oil, LPG, Mogas and LNG, berthed at Marginal Wharf Terminal-1, Engro Vopak Terminal, Sui Southern Gas Terminal, FOTCO oil Terminal and Pakistan Gas Port Terminal on 21st Oct.
Meanwhile four more ships, SLS Topaz, MSC Columbo-V, Chem Ocean Leo and IVS Trader carrying Container, Palm oil and Coal also arrived at outer anchorage on Thursday.
A total of nine ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them four ships, Admore Chinook, Alisa-1, PGC Yiannios and African Fin Foot expected to sail on today afternoon.
Cargo volume of 92,993 tones comprising 81,993 tones imports cargo and 11,627 export cargo was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 13 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them five ships, SLS Topaz, MSC Columbo, Sea Conger and Dim Jhon-A carrying Container, Palm oil, and Coal are expected to take berths QICT, LCT and PIBT respectively on Thursday 22nd October, 2026.
