KARACHI: Shipping activity remained active at the port where sixships namely, SLS Topaz,DP World Channel, Electa, Alisa I, Al-Areshand Porto Dolicha carrying Containers, Mogas, LPG, LNG and Coal, berthed at Container Terminal, Oil Terminal, Sui Southern Terminal, Elengy Terminal and Electric Terminal respectively on Tuesday, 13th October 2026.
A total of eleven ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them, two ships, Southern Robin and DP World Channelleft the porton Wednesday morning, and two more ships namely, Vera and SLS Topaz are expected to sail afternoon.
Cargo throughput of 254,556 tonnes, comprising 197,972 tonnes imports cargo and 56,584 tonnes export cargo, including containerized cargo carried in 4,534 Containers (1,773 TEUs imports and 2,761 TEUs exports) was handled at the Port, during the last 24 hours.
A total of 15 ships are at outer anchorage of Port Qasim, out of them, three ships namely, Peonia, Oriental Marguertte and SW Mistral I & another ship MSC Naomi carrying Palm oil, Coal LNG, Coal and Containers are expected to take berths at LCT, MW-1, PIBT and QICT respectively on Wednesday, October14, 2026, while another containers ship, BSG Barbadosis due to arrive at the port on same on Thursday, 15th October, and three more ships, Zhong Gu Ri Zhao, Hong Yong Chang Sheng and GFS Pride are due to arrive on Friday, 16th October 2026.
