KARACHI: Shipping activity remained active at the port where five ships namely, Southern Robin, Bao Feng Hua 1, BTG Fuji, Victoria Kosan and Patroklos I, carrying Palm oil, Soyabean, Chemicals and Mogas, berthed at Liquid Terminal, Multi-Purpose Terminal, Grain Terminal, Engro Terminal and Oil Terminal respectively during last 24 hours.
Meanwhile three more ships, Hasoonlit, Gooby and SW Mistral I scheduled to load/offload Rice and Caol also arrived at outer anchorage of the port during the same period.
A total of seven ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them, two ships namely, Bao Feng Hai I and Victoria Kosan are expected to sail on Monday afternoon.
Cargo throughput of 71,259comprising 71,157 tonnes imports cargo and 102tonnes export cargo including containerized cargo carried in 44Containers (38 TEUs Imports and 6 TEUs export) was handled at the Port, during the last 24 hours.
A total of 15 ships are at outer anchorage of Port Qasim, out of these, three ships namely, Hasoonlit, Vera and Cari Boo & another ship MSC Dorado VIII scheduled to load/offload Rice, Palm oil, Coal and Containers are expected to take berths at MW-2, PIBT, MW-1, LCT and QICT respectively on Monday, October 12, 2026, while two container ships, SLS Topaz and DP World Channel are due to arrive at the port on Tuesday, 13th October and three more ships, MSC Naomi, GFS Pride and MYD Ningbo are due to arrive Wednesday, 14th October 2026.
