KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian palm oil futures opened higher on Monday, after falling in the previous session, supported by firmer Dalian palm olein, though weaker soyoil and crude oil prices capped the gains.

The benchmark palm oil contract for December delivery on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange gained 43 ringgit, or 0.94%, to 4,635 ringgit ($1,136) a metric ton in early trade.
