KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian palm oil futures rosenearly 2% on Thursday, after two consecutive losses, as expectations of increased Indian purchases, stronger crude oil prices, and firmer rival Dalian oils boosted sentiment.
The benchmark palm oil contract for December delivery on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange gained 81 ringgit, or 1.79%, to 4,605 ringgit ($1,127.57) a metric ton in early trade.
