KARACHI: Shipping activity was report at the port where four ships, MOL Earnest, BSG Barbados, RM-7 and Dulce Diva carrying Container, LPG and Soya Bean Seed, berthed at Qasim International Container Terminal, Liquid Cargo Terminal and Grain Terminal on 6th Oct. Meanwhile another edible oil carrier ‘Yun Ding-19 Palm oil also arrived at outer anchorage on Wednesday.
A total of ten ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them a containers ship ‘MOL Earnest’ left the port on today morning, while six more ships, Doric Javelin, RM-7, BSG Barbados, Nave Cielo, Dixon and Elisabeth expected to sail on Wednesday afternoon.
Cargo volume of 142,257 tones comprising 113,005 tones imports cargo and 29,252 export cargo carried in 3,493 Containers (2,089 TEUs Imports & 1,404 TEUs Export)was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 13 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them three ships, Grand ACE-1, Esteem Houston and SC Legacy & two more ships, scheduled to load/offload Palm oil, HSFO and Container are expected to take berths MW-1, LCT, FOTCO and QICT respectively on Wednesday 7th October, 2026.
