KARACHI: Shipping activity was report at the port where three ships, Nave Cielo, PGC Yiannios and Sea Destiny carrying LPG and Coal, berthed at FOTCO oil Terminal, Pakistan International Bulk Terminal and Bulk Cargo Terminal-4 on 5th Oct.
Meanwhile four more ships, BSG Barbados, Spirit of Bertram, Vera and Venus-9 carrying Container, Palm oil and LPG also arrived at outer anchorage during last 24 hour.
A total of nine ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them four ships, Spirit of Bertram, NCC Reem, Queen Sarah and PGC Yiannios expected to sail on Tuesday.
Cargo volume of 88,439 tones comprising 77,926 tones imports cargo and 10,513 export cargo was handled at the port during last 24 hours. There are 16 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them four ships, RM-7, Dulce Diva, BSG Barbados and Spirit of Bertram & another ship ‘MOL Earnest’ carrying Palm oil, Soya Bean Seed and Container are expected to take berths LCT, FAP and QICT respectively on Tuesday 6th October, 2026.
