KARACHI: Shipping activity was report at the port where six ships, GFS Roja, MSC Barbara, Elisabeth, NCC Reem, Clear-Ocean Mustang and PGC Yiannios scheduled to load/offload Container, Bitumen, Palm oil, Mogas and LPG, berthed at Qasim International Container Terminal, Multi-Purpose Terminal, Liquid Cargo Terminal, FOTCO oil Terminal and Sui Southern Gas Terminal on 4th Oct.
Meanwhile three more ships, SC Legacy, Nave Cielo and Cari Boo scheduled to load/offload HSFO, Mogas and Coal also arrived at outer anchorage during last 24 hour.
A total of twelve ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them three ships, MSC Barbara, GFS Roja and Ginga Bobcat left the port on today morning, while three more ships, Star Opal, PGC Yiannios and Kian expected to sail on Monday.
Cargo volume of 161,090 tones comprising 137,563 tones imports cargo and 23,527 export cargo carried in 4,175 Containers (2,877 TEUs Imports & 1,298 TEUs Export)was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 14 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them a bulk cargo carrier ‘Medi Roma’ & two more ships, Sea Density and Spirit of Bertram carrying Coal and Container are expected to take berths PIBT, MW-4 and QICT respectively on Monday 5th October, 2026.
