India's Godrej Consumer expects high-teens revenue growth in second quarter
- Godrej Consumer Products expects strong Q2, projecting high-teens revenue and double-digit EBITDA growth, driven by robust demand
India’s Godrej Consumer Products said on Monday it expects second-quarter consolidated revenue to rise in the high teens, supported by growth across its businesses.
The company released its quarterly update ahead of its first earnings under Aasif Malbari as CEO and managing director after the sudden resignation of long-time chief Sudhir Sitapati in August.
The Goodknight mosquito repellent makerexpects consolidated underlying volume for the quarter ended September 30 to grow in the high single digits and EBITDA by double digits.
Godrej sees its standalone India business delivering revenue growth in the teens and underlying volume growth in the high single digits, despite a roughly 100–150 basis point hit from trade inventory correction.

The Cinthol soaps maker said growth in India was supported by healthy demand across its personal care and home care portfolios.
However, input cost pressures intensified during the quarter due to renewed inflation in crude-linked derivatives, palm oil and other commodity inputs, the company said.
The company was countering the pressures through calibrated price increases, cost-saving measures, supply-chain efficiencies and tighter cost management, it added.
The company, which is yet to announce its date to release quarterly earnings, has been in focus for its execution amid uneven demand and rising input costs.
It expects its Indonesia business to post high-teens revenue growth and its Africa, USA and Middle East business to deliver robust double-digit revenue and volume growth.
Godrej said it remains on track to meet its full-year outlook for fiscal 2027 and expects to exceed it in select areas.
