Muhammad Yasin takes charge as president of ICMA Pakistan

Muhammad Yasin, FCMA, has assumed charge as President of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan (ICMA Pakistan). A senior finance professional and Group Chief Financial Officer of The Superior Group, Yasin brings extensive experience across the textile, oil and gas, media, aviation, supply chain and education sectors.

Yasin has previously served as Vice President and Honorary Treasurer of ICMA Pakistan, as well as Chairman of its Research and Publications Committee. His longstanding association with the Institute includes leadership of the Lahore Branch Council and service on the National Council, reflecting his contribution to professional development and the advancement of management accountancy in Pakistan.

His professional credentials include fellowship of ICMA Pakistan, the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA), UK, and the Pakistan Institute of Public Finance Accountants (PIPFA). He has also served as President of PIPFA’s Board of Governors and holds the Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) distinction from Toastmasters International, USA. His regional engagement includes membership of the South Asian Federation of Accountants’ Committee for Improvement in Transparency, Accountability and Governance.

His assumption of office is expected to strengthen ICMA Pakistan’s efforts to advance professional education, enhance members’ capabilities and deepen engagement with industry.
