LAHORE: Punjab Emergency Services Department (Rescue 1122) in collaboration with Jazz Business has successfully deployed an extended, mission-critical communication and command-and-control ecosystem.

At the centre of the deployment is a centralized Command and Control Dispatch System integrated with digital Push-to-Talk radios that provides Rescue 1122 operators with real-time visibility of field operations. From regional command centres, dispatchers can communicate with rescue personnel, assign and track emergency vehicles through interactive mapping interfaces, and monitor operational resources and their availability.

The solution has been designed for remote and flood-impacted areas where conventional networks may be disrupted or unavailable. It enables Rescue 1122 teams to maintain essential links with command centres and field personnel during complex emergency operations.

The turnkey deployment combines Jazz’s digital connectivity with Hytera’s professional communications technology to create a field-ready communications infrastructure for challenging environments.

Shahzad Rasheed, President Enterprise Solutions, JazzWorld, said, “During natural disasters such as floods, conventional infrastructure can face severe disruptions, yet that is precisely when effective coordination matters most.

By combining resilient field communications with centralized command-and-control capabilities, we are providing Rescue 1122 with the tools to coordinate teams more effectively, respond faster, and support vulnerable communities across Punjab.”
