KARACHI: A total of ten ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them five ships, Peng Hu Wan, Hosun, Gem Darcy, Gooby and Meghna Rose are expected to sail on afternoon.
Cargo volume of 88,909 tones comprising 82,381 tones imports cargo and 6,528 export cargo was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 17 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them five ships, Yon Ding-19, Bird-16, Chem Orchid, Shahriar Jahan-I and Crane and another ship ‘Brooklyn Bridge’ scheduled to load/offload Palm oil, Rice, Chemicals, Coal and Container are expected to take berths MW-1, FAP, EVTL, MW-4, PQPET and QICT respectively on 7th September, 2026.
