LAHORE: Punjab Minister for Industries and Commerce Chaudhry Shafay Hussain on Thursday inaugurated 3P Pakistan 2026, the country’s largest exhibition for the plastic, printing and packaging industries, featuring 650 companies from more than 30 countries.
Organized by Fact Exhibitions (Pvt) Ltd., the three-day exhibition will continue until Sept. 5, showcasing the latest machinery, technologies and products for the plastic, printing and packaging sectors.
After inaugurating the exhibition, Shafay visited various stalls and expressed keen interest in the modern machinery and products displayed by participating companies. He said the exhibition would provide an opportunity to showcase modern technologies, sustainable packaging solutions and environment-friendly practices, creating new avenues for industrial growth. Shafay said the plastic, printing and packaging sector was a major industry, and the government was addressing its legitimate issues on a priority basis.
He said Punjab had witnessed record investment over the past two-and-a-half years, with new industrial units being established and existing industries expanding.

Under the policy, industrial plots in Special Economic Zones could also be acquired on lease, while industrial centres across Punjab were being shifted to solar energy.
Fact Exhibitions CEO Saleem Khan Tanoli said this year’s exhibition focused on innovation, sustainability, the responsible use of plastics and promotion of the circular economy.
He said 3P Pakistan provided industry stakeholders with a unique platform for learning, networking and developing business linkages.
