MUZAFFARABAD: The schedule for the election of the 17th Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) has been issued, with the election set to be held in the Legislative Assembly on August 27.
According to the official schedule issued by the Secretariat of the AJK Legislative Assembly, the process for the election of the new prime minister will begin with the submission of nomination papers from 9:30 am to 10:30 am.
Scrutiny of the nomination papers will be conducted from 10:30 am to 10:45 am. Following the scrutiny, the preliminary list of candidates will be displayed at 11 am.
Candidates will be allowed to withdraw their nomination papers between 11:00 am and 11:30 am. The final list of candidates will subsequently be displayed at 12 noon.
The election for the prime minister of Azad Kashmir will be held at 12 noon on August 27 in the Legislative Assembly.
According to the schedule, all proceedings related to the election of the new prime minister will be completed at the Secretariat of the AJK Legislative Assembly.
The release of the election schedule marks an important stage in the process of selecting the new prime minister of Azad Kashmir, with the Assembly set to complete the electoral process on August 27.
