Butt and four other suspects: Court defers indictment proceedings

LAHORE: A sessions court on Tuesday deferred the indictment proceedings against YouTuber Rajab Butt and four other suspects for charges of alleged criminal assault on a female Tiktoker till August 29.
The Tiktoker Ayesha Jutt filed a complaint against Rajab Butt, Salman Haider, Maan Dogar and two other suspects.
She claimed to have evidence to prove the allegations.
The suspects had secured pre-arrest bail, however, the court directed the suspects to furnish fresh bail bonds.
The Tiktoker had filed the complaint before the court after Nawab Town police discharged the suspects in an FIR by her on similar charges.
