KARACHI: Pakistan has extended its airspace closure to Indian aircraft for another month.
According to a new Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) issued by the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA), the airspace restriction will remain continued on Indian-registered, Indian-operated, leased and military aircraft in place, effective from August 18 until September 24.
The ban covers Indian-registered airlines, leased aircraft, and commercial and military aircraft owned or operated by Indian nationals.
The restrictions, which remain active since April 2025, apply across both of Pakistan’s flight information regions, Karachi and Lahore.
