BANNU: Security forces and District Police killed at least five terrorists on Sunday during a joint intelligence-based operation conducted in different areas of Domail.

Acting on precise intelligence regarding presence of Fitna al-Khawarij operatives in vicinity of Sadron, Akbar Ali Khan village, and surrounding localities, a combined tactical team led by District Police Officer (DPO) Bannu, Muhammad Furqan Bilal, executed a targeted operation of the suspected hideouts.

During the operation, joint forces deployed drone technology to maintain precise surveillance and execute effective tactical actions against the target group. Initial field reports confirm that five terrorists were killed during the strike, while several others sustained injuries before being evacuated by fleeing companions into the dense, high-friction terrain nearby.

A comprehensive search and clearance operation remains active across adjacent areas to track remaining suspect movements and dismantle auxiliary hideouts.

DPO Muhammad Furqan Bilal said that joint operations will persist unabated until the complete elimination of terrorist elements from the region.
