KARACHI: Gold prices closed on a negative note, inching down on Saturday as the world bullion market lost a little momentum, traders said.
All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association noted that the international market’s dip slightly brought down local gold prices on the weekend.
The precious metal value, it said, declined by Rs500 and Rs429, settling at Rs459,936 per tola and Rs394,320 per 10 grams, respectively.
Global market traded gold bullion at USD4375 per ounce, going down by just USD5 with silver rising by less than a dollar - USD0.13 to USD64.70 per ounce, according to the association.
