FAISALABAD: Two female students from the National Textile University (NTU) have made history by securing positions in the Top 10 of the Prime Minister’s Youth Excellence Award 2026.

Amina Nadeem from the Faisalabad Business School and Maira Sheikh from the School of Engineering and Technology were honored at a ceremony held at the Convention Centre in Islamabad, presided over by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

The two students were selected from over 600 nominated candidates representing 250 universities across the country. The selection process was facilitated through the NTU Advisor Students Office, under the supervision of the university’s Rector, Prof. Dr. Rashid Masood. On the occasion, the Prime Minister also announced the National Youth Employment Policy aimed at empowering young Pakistanis.

Prof. Dr. Rashid Masood congratulated awardees, their families, and the respective departments. He praised the Faisalabad Business School and the School of Engineering and Technology for fostering such talent and stated that this honor reflects NTU’s academic excellence and commitment to the holistic development of its students.
