SHC CJ administers oath to three judges

KARACHI: Chief Justice of the Sindh High Court (SHC), Justice Zafar Ahmed Rajput, on Wednesday administered the oath to three newly appointed Additional Judges of the high court.

Senior Puisne Judge Justice Muhammad Iqbal Kalhoro was also present at the oath-taking ceremony held at the main building of the Sindh High Court.

The newly appointed Additional Judges are Justice Muhammad Humayon Khan, Justice Suresh Kumar and Justice Dr Shah Nawaz Memon.

Their appointments was made following approval by President Asif Ali Zardari and the subsequent notification issued by the Ministry of Law and Justice.

Prior to their appointment, Suresh Kumar was serving as a District and Sessions Judge, Muhammad Humayon Khan was practising as an Advocate of the High Court, while Dr Shah Nawaz Memon as an Advocate of the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
