ISLAMABAD: Ambassador of Iran, Reza Amiri Moghadam, met Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister (DPM/FM) Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar.
The Ambassador briefed the DPM/FM on progress under various bilateral institutional mechanisms aimed at strengthening cooperation across diverse areas, following the recent exchange of high-level visits between Pakistan and Iran.
The DPM/FM reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to further deepening engagement with Iran in key priority areas.
The two sides also exchanged views on the evolving regional situation. The DPM/FM underscored that dialogue and diplomacy remain the only effective means of addressing outstanding issues and achieving lasting peace, stability, and prosperity in the region.
