Lucky Investment awarded AM1 asset manager rating
KARACHI: Lucky Investments Limited has been awarded an AM1 Asset Manager Rating, the highest rating assigned to asset managers by the Pakistan Credit Rating Agency Limited (PACRA), the company said in a statement on Monday.
According to the company, the rating was achieved less than one and a half years after it commenced operations in April 2025. Lucky Investments said the AM1 rating represents PACRA’s highest opinion of an asset manager’s quality and covers areas including governance, investment management, risk management, operational capabilities, internal controls, financial strength and institutional capacity.
The company said it has crossed Rs126 billion in assets under management (AUM) since commencing operations. During the period, it also launched a range of mutual and pension funds, introduced the Lucky Funds mobile application, expanded its physical presence and entered into strategic partnerships aimed at increasing access to Shariah-compliant investment products.
Commenting on the rating, Lucky Investments Chief Executive Officer Mohammad Shoaib said the achievement reflected the confidence of investors and other stakeholders in the company.
He said the rating would reinforce the company’s focus on governance, fiduciary responsibility, investment management and Shariah compliance, while it continued to expand its branch network and digital services.
Lucky Investments said it intends to continue developing investment solutions and expanding access to Shariah-compliant asset management services for individual and institutional investors across Pakistan.
