ISLAMABAD: Inter-national Day of World’s Indigenous Peoples was observed on Sunday.
The theme of the day this year is “Honouring Indigenous Midwives: Safeguarding Life and Well-being.”
An estimated 476 million indigenous people live across 90 countries, representing 5,000 different cultures, said a statement issued on Sunday.
