KARACHI: Gold prices took a big stride on Wednesday, mirroring a global market’s steep rise, traders said.
The yellow metal prices grew by Rs10,000 and Rs8,573 reaching Rs437,936 per tola and Rs375,459 per 10 grams, respectively, All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association said.
Domestic silver market also followed the global uptrend, surging by Rs273, Rs235 to Rs6,624 per tola and Rs5,679 per 10 grams respectively, according to the association.
It is worth noting that these gold and silver prices may be different from those quoted in the open market.
