KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 162,359 tonnes of Cargo Comprising 126,710 tonnes of Import Cargo and 35,649 tonnes of Export Cargo during last 24 hours, ending at 0700 hours.
The Total Import Cargo of 126,710 tonnes Comprised of 33,346 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 2,969 tonnes of B Bulk Cargo, 7,202 tonnes of (Dap), & 38,193 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
The Total Export Cargo of 35,649 tonnes Comprised of 12,756 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 220 Tons of B. Bulk Cargo,17,873Tons of Clinkers, & 4,800 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
Around, 03 ships namely, Iasonas, Atlantic Harmony, & Oriental Acacia berthed at the Karachi Port Trust.
Approximately, 05 ships namely, Stolt Beluga, Zhuo Yue Yuan Yang, Zhong Kun611, Hong Da Xin 768, & Maestro Breland sailed from the Karachi Port Trust.
PORT QASIM
A total of thirteen ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them a gas carrier ‘PGC Yiannios’ left the port on Wednesday morning, while six more ships, Maersk Ferrato, GSL Melina, Jabal Harim, Can Bey, Antigoni Force and Nave Atropos expected to sail on Wednesday afternoon.
Cargo volume of 205,080 tones comprising 164,280 tones imports cargo and 40,800 export cargo carried in 2,419 Containers (19 TEUs Imports & 2,400 TEUs Export)was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 17 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them five ships, CMA CGM Nile, Star Cape Town, Beugan, Venus-09 and Chemstar River scheduled to load/offload Container, Cement, Gas oil, LPG and Chemicals are expected to take berths QICT, MW-1, FOTCO, SSGC and EVTL respectively on Wednesday 5th July, 2026.
