Tasdeeq – a State Bank of Pakistan-regulated credit information and analytics company – initial public offering (IPO) was fully subscribed within a “record two seconds” of the start of book building, said Topline Securities on Wednesday.
The brokerage house, which is acting as consultant to the issue, shared that the book building saw “strong participation from institutional, foreign fund and high-net-worth investors”.
“Tasdeeq is Pakistan’s first SBP-licensed private credit bureau, one of only two licensed in the country, and will be the first credit bureau to list in South Asia,” said Topline in a post on social media.
According to the company’s prospectus, Tasdeeq planned to sell a total of 150 million shares at a price ranging between a minimum of Rs1.90 per share and a maximum of Rs3 per share. Estimates suggest the company would raise equity investment through the IPO in the range of Rs285 million to Rs450 million – depending on the strike share price to be determined through the Dutch bidding (book building) process.
The book building continues until 5:00 pm, 6 August 2026, said Topline. Public subscription will be held on 11-12 August 2026.
The company intends to use the proceeds to support its product development roadmap, strengthen its technology infrastructure and information security, and fund consumer marketing initiatives.
“This strategy is aimed at capturing growth opportunities across both the B2B and B2C segments while reinforcing the company’s data integrity, regulatory compliance, and long-term operational scalability,” it added.
