KARACHI: K-Electric (KE) has won the Gold Stevie® Award at the 11th Annual Stevie® Awards for Great Employers, with the company’s Chief People Officer, Muhammad Rizwan Dalia, receiving an honor in the HR Individual – Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Leader of the Year category.

The achievement was KE’s first participation in the Stevie® Awards for Great Employers, one of the world’s most prestigious award programmes recognising the world’s best employers and human resources professionals, teams, achievements, and HR-related products, solutions, and suppliers that help create and drive great places to work.

Commenting on the achievement, Muhammad Rizwan Dalia, Chief People Officer at KE, said: “Receiving this Gold Stevie® Award is truly meaningful because I know how much dedication, perseverance, and belief have gone into KE’s DEI journey over the years. As a company from Pakistan’s power sector, an industry that has faced its share of challenges both nationally and across our region, this recognition is especially significant, reinforcing my belief that when an organisation commits to its people with consistency and purpose, it can achieve global standards of excellence. We’ve learned that diversity fuels innovation, equity builds trust, and inclusion enables people to do their best work, and I’m incredibly elated that KE is representing Pakistan on the global stage.”

This year’s awards featured more than 1,000 nominations from organizations across 38 nations in various HR-related categories, including Achievement in Workplace Safety & Compliance, Employer of the Year, Chief Human Resources Officer of the Year, Human Resources Team of the Year, Employee Relations Solution Provider of the Year, among others.

“We congratulate all of the winners in the 11th edition of the Stevie® Awards for Great Employers,” said Stevie Awards President Maggie Miller.
