‘IRIS’ services of FBR will not be available from 8th to 10th
ISLAMABAD: The “IRIS” Services of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) will not be available to the taxpayers from August 8-10.
Pakistan Revenue Automation Limited (PRAL), the IT arm of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has finalized a planned system maintenance activity for the “IRIS platform and all its allied services from August 8-10.
In this regard, the PRAL has announced Planned System Maintenance for IRIS Platform and temporary unavailability of IRIS Services from August 8 (Saturday), 12:30am to August 10, 5pm.
During the said maintenance time period, the IRIS platform and all its allied services will remain temporarily unavailable. Users will not be able to access these systems or perform related transactions. Services are expected to resume immediately upon successful completion of the maintenance activity.
In view of this, the PRAL has informed all government departments/organizations to make the necessary preparations within your organization in anticipation of the planned system maintenance activity. The government departments and stakeholders are also requested to notify your concerned teams, users, and stakeholders well in advance and, wherever applicable, make appropriate alternate arrangements to ensure continuity of operations and minimize inconvenience or operational disruption.
To facilitate wider public awareness, an advisory banner regarding the planned system maintenance activity will also be displayed on the IRIS portal prior to the commencement of the maintenance window.

The Contact Center will remain fully operational throughout the maintenance window, including the scheduled weekend, to provide uninterrupted support and address any queries or concerns, the PRAL added.
